Limitations and Key Issues with Decentralized Technologies
Nodeunlock has the pleasure of being part of the SingularityU London Blockchain Series.
For the third part in the SingularityU London Blockchain Series, we wanted to peel away the hype and explore the limits and key issues around and affecting blockchain. Blockchain is THE buzzword of today.
It has been touted as having the ability to change the world immeasurably - but is it the panacea that everyone says it is? What are the problems with blockchain technology and how do we truly solve them?
We welcome Elliott Callender and Abel Tedros from Nodeunlock to help us put things into perspective. Nodeunlock is a blockchain education company with a vision of making blockchain simple to understand.
Elliott is Founder & CEO of Nodeunlock.
He founded Nodeunlock after becoming besotted by the potential for blockchain technology to change lives immeasurably. He has spent over a decade in the financial services world, simplifying investing with BNY Mellon, consulting for Wealth Management & FinTech firms and running accelerated learning programmes.
Abel is Founder/Head of Growth of Fantastic Mr.Wolf.
Abel has been obsessed with everything decentralised since 2015. He's a product growth specialist who's helped companies like Monzo, Hubspot and Gigster create hyper-growth and has advised protocols like orchid protocol and simple token. He's now obsessed with making learning about blockchain as simple as possible.
Come join us! Pay as much as you think you got out of it (suggested 10 gbp at your own discretion other than the minimum admin fee). The venue requires each attendee to register on MeetUp /Eventbrite to attend the event for security reasons. This event is made possible thanks to the speakers, SingularityU London Chapter and WeWork.
ABOUT THE TEAM THAT’S BRINGING YOU THE EVENT
SingularityU London Chapter and WeWork have teamed up to put on a series of events on Blockchain, with the intention of educating the WeWork, SingularityU London Chapter and wider London communities. The idea is for the series to bring someone who has no understand or knowledge on Blockchain to be able to, but the end of the series, have an idea of how to integrate Blockchain in their every day. The series will begin with the basics of what Blockchain is and what it means -a Blockchain 101- and will follow on with specific business use cases and how disruptive the technology will be. Overtime, we will build up to more in-depth topics; the audience will vary, but the idea is to scale up from people who had no knowledge to people with increasing amounts of theoretical and finally practical expertise on the wider Blockchain concept.
